My Message
At The Salvation Army in Campbell River we reach out to the most vulnerable in our community, not only at Christmas, but throughout the year sharing our resources and story with them to bring hope and instill dignity. We accept people where they are, but know God loves them too much to leave them there.

With your generous support we can continue to bring hope and dignity to those who need it most through our community Ministries:

The Lighthouse Centre: Where we serve approximately 20,000 hot meals a year and meet with clients on a daily basis for referrals to treatment for drug and alcohol abuse.

Extreme Weather Beds: In partnership with BC housing we provide 15 low barrier extreme weather shelter mats at our Lighthouse Centre during the coldest months of the year.

Emergency Assistance- Assist over 400 local households annually with vouchers for clothing and household supplies through our thrift stores as well as emergency food hampers.

Adopt A Family: In partnership with the local business community and generous individuals last year we helped approximately 50 local families with Christmas food and toy hampers.

Emergency Shelter- In partnership with B.C. Housing we provide up to 22 warm beds per night for individuals and families at our Evergreen House facility.

Thanks for reflecting upon these needs and giving as you can.

Captains Gord and Karen Taylor & friends from The Salvation Army.
